Flight Emprise II – Dracones Castellum – Anno Pax Domini III

Hie unto the Greenwood with us. The Incipient Castle of Dracones Castellum (sponsored by the Shire of Strathhavin) invites you to join them on Crowley’s Ridge.
There, for the weekend of 09/15/2023 you are invited to the green woods of Sherwood. There you will find a merry band of archers and other live weapon wielders led by Lissa Culbreath and your concierge Maire and her assistant Robin.
Your Quest once you arrive on the Ridge, have picked a bunk, and gotten comfortable and medieval will be to find Robin and offer aid. You will be asked to enter the field of archery or thrown weapons if you wish, lend hand where aid is needed, and to at all times avoid the dread Sheriff and her men (once you have signed in to the event and settled your taxes). Hidden around the grounds will be caches of taxes and supplies for you to liberate and return to Robin for her aid and the good of the people. At evenings close we will have awards for feats of bravery, a visit from Royalty (possible) and dine on a hearty repast of pottage and whichever other good things our hunters bring to table. Celebrate into the night with songs of bards and games of chance, perhaps even some dance to lighten your heels.
*Site opens at 5:00 pm Friday September 15th 2023 or if you would like to volunteer to help set up you may arrive at 3:00 pm

Weekend Pass Fees
$40 For SMA members
$45 Non-members (includes event, bunk, meals)
Youth free up to age 12.
Day Trip Fees
$20 for SMA members
$25 for non-members
(The day trip pass is Saturday only so does not include bunk, traveler’s fare Friday night, or event Friday night)
If you would prefer to tent, the site charges $5 per night per tent pitched in the group area payable directly to site or you can book a tent site in the park across the street
Individual cabin and RV spots are also available in the park across the street
There are multiple hotel options in nearby Paragould Arkansas.
